Meet the Deans

Dr. Glenn Sanford has served as the dean of the College of Human Sciences and Humanities since June 2021. His expertise focuses on philosophy of biology, philosophy of science, environmental and natural resources law, and public policy.

Dr. Christine Walther is the associate dean for the College of Human Sciences and Humanities. She is also a professor of psychology. She completed an undergraduate degree in psychology at Texas Tech University. She then attended the University of Pittsburgh, ultimately receiving both a master's degree and doctorate in psychology. Her teaching includes classes in developmental psychology, adolescent development, and research methods and statistics. Her research examines the interplay between social influences and individual differences in understanding alcohol use and problems from adolescence to early adulthood, and she has published her research in a variety of psychology journals.
